battle (approximately four years long) where plaintiff
claimed to have been fired as a result of his age and was
seeking roughly 4 million dollars in damages. Case
eventually went to trial, and a jury awarded plaintiff
only $200,000. The district court denied defendant's
motion for a judgment as a matter of law. The district
court also denied the plaintiff's motion for a new trial
on damages. The district court judge granted plaintiff's
motion for attorney's fees, but at a reduced rate.
Additional Notes: Becker authored

which he ordered by himself (i.e. without a panel).
